About
About LondonSearchWorks
LondonSearchWorks is a small SEO practice for lawful adult businesses across the UK: shops, venues, platforms and suppliers. We handle the technical, local and ecommerce side of search, and we do it inside the rules that now govern adult businesses online.
Four commitments
- No. 1Visibility within the law
Search work planned around the Online Safety Act, licensing, advertising codes and privacy law, as set out on our UK SEO page, never around shortcuts.
- No. 2Same page for people and crawlers
Search engines are shown exactly what an unverified visitor sees.
- No. 3Evidence for every claim
Figures on this site and in our reports carry a named source and a date.
- No. 4Plain reporting
What changed, what moved and what did not, in writing, every month.
Whose door we open
Welcome
- Adult and sexual wellness shops, in town or online
- Licensed clubs, bars and venues
- Subscription and dating platforms with proper age assurance
- Wholesalers and suppliers to the trade
Declined
- Escort agencies and anyone else advertising paid sexual services
- Sites without the age assurance the law requires
- Requests for bought links, reviews or traffic
A new practice, honestly described
The practice opened in 2026, so you will not find client logos or testimonials here, because we only show them with written permission. Our plans and fees are published on the pricing page, and our thinking is set out in the insights, starting with the UK guide. The services themselves are described on adult SEO in the UK.
Our approach to the work
- Rules before rankings. We confirm which laws and policies apply to your business before recommending any page or change.
- Written fixes. Every finding arrives as a ticket with the reason it matters and a way to check it is done.
- Sources you can read. Every point we make about legislation or Google policy is linked to its origin and marked with when we last looked.
- A monthly note in plain English. Results on the open pages, the work done, anything new from Ofcom, the ICO or Google, and next month's priorities.
The sources we rely on
We work from primary sources wherever they exist: Ofcom's guidance and enforcement decisions under the Online Safety Act, the Information Commissioner's Office on cookies and data protection, the Competition and Markets Authority on reviews, the Committee of Advertising Practice codes, council licensing policies, and Google's own documentation. Where we rely on industry surveys, we name them and say what they measured. Our insights show the sources behind each topic and the date each was last revised.
What we cannot do
- Give legal advice. We summarise rules to plan pages; your solicitor decides what applies.
- Guarantee rankings, traffic or sales, which depend on your products, prices and competitors as much as on search.
- Write production code. We specify changes precisely; your developer makes them.
- See inside Google. We observe results, test changes and report honestly when something cannot be explained.
The first month
After the free visibility review, the first week is spent on access and on a map of every page as open or gated. The second checks what crawlers and unverified visitors receive on every template. The third turns findings into tickets, starting with anything that affects compliance. The fourth begins the fixes and agrees, with you, the pages to build next. Four weeks in, you hold a written baseline and an agreed plan for the quarter ahead, at the level set out on our pricing page.
Questions
Is the practice based in London?
The name reflects the market we focus on. We work remotely across the UK, and the company behind the practice is identified in our terms.
Why not work with escort agencies?
Because many activities around paid sex are criminal offences in the UK, and advertising them carries legal and platform risks we will not take on for clients or ourselves.
Can you show us past results?
Not yet. LondonSearchWorks opened in 2026, and we publish results only with a client's written consent. A free visibility review is the fairest test.
