Terms of service
Revision of
These terms apply to use of londonsearchworks.online, to visibility review requests, and to any plan a business buys from LondonSearchWorks.
The provider
Services are supplied by Techno Hiker Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India, trading as LondonSearchWorks. Its registered details are printed on every quote and invoice. Write to hello@londonsearchworks.online with any query on these terms; our standards are described on the about page.
Business customers only
Our services are for businesses, not consumers. We take on lawful adult businesses in the UK, such as shops, licensed venues, platforms with appropriate age assurance, and trade suppliers. Escort agencies and others advertising paid sexual services are turned away, and an engagement can be stopped straight away if it emerges that a client falls into that group or operates without a licence or age assurance the law requires.
Scope of a plan
A plan includes the tasks set out for it on the pricing page, as repeated in your written quote. Web development, paid advertising, link building and legal advice are outside every plan unless agreed separately in writing.
Methods
We will not show search engines content that visitors can only reach after age assurance, advise on getting round age checks or blocks, or buy links or reviews, whoever asks.
Outcomes
Search engines decide rankings, and their systems change often. We commit to carrying out the agreed work with reasonable skill and care; we do not promise particular positions, traffic or sales.
Fees and VAT
- Plans are charged monthly in pounds sterling, at the rate on your quote.
- Month to month: invoiced each month and ended with one month's written notice.
- Set term: the reduced rate runs for the three, six or twelve months agreed and is payable for that whole period.
- VAT is charged on top where applicable. Payment falls due fourteen days after each invoice.
What we need from you
- Lawful operation, including any licence and age assurance your business requires.
- Accurate information about your products, premises and prices.
- Timely access and approvals, and your own legal advice where needed.
Confidentiality and rights in work
Each side keeps the other's confidential information private. When invoices are paid, pages, copy and specifications made for you are yours to use; our checklists, templates and tools remain ours. Our privacy notice covers any personal data involved.
Liability
Neither side excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, the most we can owe in any year is a sum equal to one quarter's fees preceding the claim, and neither side is liable for loss of profit or indirect loss, or for decisions made by search engines, platforms or regulators.
Ending the arrangement
Either side may give one month's written notice once any set term has run, or end the arrangement at once if the other commits a serious breach that is not put right within fourteen days of being notified.
Law
These terms are subject to the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a signed quote says otherwise.
